I have chosen all these photos of people, actors and cartoons because they make me laugh in all different ways.

The reason why i picked Mario Balotelli to put on a comedy mood board is because of his one in a million personality and his out going way to get in trouble. The things he chooses to do is just unbelievable and so un-professional for a modern day football that it just becomes funny to watch him go about his life. He is also very inspiring for his unique identity his own style and saying what he thinks and being down to earth and saying it how it is. I am looking to base my main character in my film on Mario Ballotelli, but only the stubborn and mysterious part of mario Ballotelli. Seth Rogen is an actor that inspires me because he is very good at what he does which is making funny films. but i like his clever approach in most film, where he is the brains of the situation but is always unlucky in his stories. But my main character can take out the clever part of the actor that he plays and leave out the comedy part and that part of him as an actor is perfect to fit my ex war veteran.

What is an opening sequence ?

An opening sequence t a film is to show the audience the producers, directors, actors, designers and other people involved in the film. to give people an insight of who helped made the film, it also gives people who where involved making the film recognition for there hard work. Opening sequences also give you a tatste of what the film is going to be like before it has started, they do this by the type of music they use and the actings behind the text like a little story behind the text. 

The order of the information that comes on an opening sequence is usually the company name that made the film e.g. Paramount Pictures. after that it will usually be the main actor or actors that are starring in the film, it is really important to actors that they are put at the start of an opening sequence, because it shows how important they are to the audience in the film and in general. The film title usually comes after the main actor, to relate the main actor with the film so you know that major actor is in the name of the film e.g. Daniel Craig .......... Skyfall. Several other actors that are involved in the film come shortly after the title of the film, depending of there significance in the film it will see where the the actors will be on the title sequence. after the actors the people are involved in the other parts of the films such as music, costumes, directors, producers, writer, editors, production designers, effects and casting come after the actors, but some of the more important parts of the film such as the director, or producers can be before some actors depending on how much they contributed to the film. 

Saving Private Ryan - Influence 

Other things that influence me film is saving private ryan because my film is going to be based on a war veteran and life after war. I like the story line of the soldiers being at war and seeing how hard war was for them and how much it can mess people up after they have seen the terrible effects of war. After seeing the end of saving private ryan i wanted to see what happened after soldiers come back to normal life, so i decided to do a film based on an old war veteran returning home and his life at war and how it has changed him as person forever and how he copes with the next stage of his life. This influences me because i want to show how war can damage and scar people for the rest of the lives and even worse scar there families as well. The characters in saving private ryan really inspired me to set them as role models for my characters, because they are strong hearted who fight for   a cause. Who Tom Hanks plays in saving private ryan i really want to adopt his leadership qualities and war experience into my hero because it is a really inspiring part to play which i want my hero to be because it makes audiences not just love the film but to love a certain rt of the film and in my case i want that to be my main character.


This Clip of saving private ryan inspired me a lot because you can see the soldiers are dying and being battered wave after wave but they still go on and fight to get through the german barriers which shows a lot of strength and heart.

The two main actors in the film are the main attraction of the opening sequence showing them dancing which gives you an idea about what genre the film is (comedy) the music behind the opening sequence is also very up beat and sets the tone for the rest of the film, and gives the audience an insight of the film before it has begun. I have used the opening sequence for Superbad because i was looking to link the story line of the film with my own film. Where two friends are rushing to spend time with each other before school ends in the very near future, and they are struggling at the idea without being with each other. i am only looking for that part of the film not the comedy side. The great thing about this opening sequence is that  it connects really well with the character of the film and the actors also the genre of the film. it links all these things at once so the audience can know as much of the film as possible when they start watching, to interact them.

The opening sequence to Forrest Gump is very clever how the feather floats down to land right by Tom Hanks who is the main actor in the film. This shows before the film has even begun that he is the main actor and he is a main attraction in the film.

I am influenced by football. I watch football and play football for at least 15 hours a week. It inspires me because of role models in football including David Beckham, Jack Whilshere, Frank Lampard and Steve Gerrard who i take a liking to personally. I have been playing and watching football since i can remember and no other sport comes close. One of the main reasons why football is such a big part of my life is because i enjoy it and it is my dream to play for money, it is also a great way to meet new people, nearly over half my friends i have met through playing football. Also it keeps you fit and healthy. Another thing i love about football is that any one can play, you can play for just a laugh and friendly competition and you can play for a career which is enjoyable for everyone and not just a selected few.

The opening sequence shows that the main actor (daniel craig) comes before the title of the film. This shows that the actor that plays james bond is more important that the film title. the production of the film is more important than the film title according to the opening sequence, with the production being shown first, so the audience knows where the films come from before they even know what the film is.
